How PASB will deliver

Key Technical Cooperation Interventions
 

  • Step up leadership
    • Develop innovative approaches for Member States to use data, information, and knowledge for decision making and policy making.
  • Support countries
    • Build capacity to collect, analyze, disseminate, and use disaggregated data to monitor progress toward the regional goals for health priorities.
  • Produce technical products on norms and standards, data, and research
    • Strengthen the regional Health in the Americas and Core Indicators initiatives.
    • Develop and implement information products and services for strengthening health-related decision-making capacity of laypeople, communities, and health workers.
    • Adopt strategies for the application of data science in public health using artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies, according to the regional policy (Document CD59/7).
    • Increase the availability and use of multilingual scientific and technical literature, facilitating more equitable access to information and knowledge among Member States and reducing the size of the digital divide.
