PAHO has officially published the Evaluation of PAHO's Technical Cooperation on Health Workforce in the Americas, now available through the PAHO IRIS repository and this Evaluation microsite.

The evaluation examines PAHO's contributions between 2018 and 2024 and provides evidence-based lessons and recommendations to strengthen workforce governance, planning, education, migration management, and preparedness across the Region. In addition, this evaluation includes three country case studies from Brazil, Guatemala, and Guyana that provide additional insights into health workforce challenges and solutions in diverse national contexts.

PAHO encourages consulting and sharing these resources, which contribute to ongoing dialogue on strengthening health workforce policies and building more resilient health systems across the Americas.
