Progress made toward updated mental health policies and legislation

During the 2024–2025 biennium, progress was made under the leadership of the Dutch Ministry of Health in updating mental health policies and legislation. PAHO supported the revision of mental health policies across Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius. This process helps to ensure that national frameworks support strengthened protection of mental health and psychosocial well‑being and provide a coherent basis for planning and delivering mental health services across the three territories.
