End-of-project Evaluation: Strengthening Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Surveillance and Response in the Caribbean
Description
This end-of-project evaluation examined the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the Fleming Fund Caribbean Regional Project, which aimed to strengthen antimicrobial resistance surveillance and response capacities across participating Caribbean countries. The evaluation provides evidence of the project’s contributions to laboratory systems, workforce capacity, AMR data generation and use, and regional cooperation, while identifying priorities to consolidate these gains and inform future PAHO technical cooperation on AMR and laboratory-based public health surveillance.
