Action on social determinants and protection from violence strengthened
During the 2024–2025 biennium, PAHO played a key role in strengthening Anguilla’s capacity to address critical social determinants of health, with particular focus on prevention of and response to violence against women and girls, and healthy aging.
Capacity strengthened to provide integrated care for noncommunicable diseases
In an effort to strengthen technical cooperation in Anguilla, PAHO led the work under the umbrella of the Better Care for NCDs initiative. An initial in-country visit was conducted in November 2024 to meet key partners within the Ministry of Health, visit health facilities, and better understand the health landscape.
